Ice Skating

Hi Friends,

Christmas is coming up. So it is time for ice skating, drinking hot chocolate milk and eating some oliebollen. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go ice skating this week, but I made a couple of photographs to share this place with you.
Every year a skating rink is build on the Museumplein. I like this skating rink, because it is located in the heart of the city but still has this cute Christmas feeling to it. On the Rembrandtplein they also build a skating rink every year. This skating rink is surrounded by Christmas stands. In a couple of weeks I will show them.
When you’ve skated a couple of rounds on the ice and drank your hot chocolate. It is time for sightseeing. From this location you can choose between three options:
1. you can either visit the Rijksmuseum that is opposite from the skating rink.
2. you can walk through the most expensive street of Amsterdam. Click here to visit the blog about the P.C. Hooftstraat.
3. you can take a walk in the Vondelpark. Click here to visit the blog about the Vondelpark.

If your are hungry afterwards you can always have a nice lunch at these restaurants:
Poké Perfect
Louie Louie
Metropolitan
SLA

Love,
The Captioner
